Survivor Support Group Child-Care Provider

Provide childcare during Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Survivor Support Groups. Groups are held in the afternoon and evenings in various locations throughout Indianapolis. Groups cover a variety of topics aimed at empowerment and support for survivors. Child-care volunteers play a central role in our support groups by removing lack of child-care as a barrier for attendees.

Previous experience with children is not required but preferred. Training is provided. We ask that all potential volunteers are ready to learn, listen and practice empathy. Contact Betsy Hall for program specific information, .

Bilingual volunteers are greatly needed.

Facilitator time commitment:

  • Initial volunteer training
  • Commit to 6 months of volunteering
