2017 Annual Gift Lift

We need YOUR help! Families First invites you to join us in the Annual Gift Lift. Help us brighten the holidays for individuals with mental illness or other brain disorders by supporting the Gift Lift through donation, promotion, and/or volunteerism!

For over 60 years Mental Health America of Greater Indianapolis hosted the Annual Gift Lift program, and now Families First is pleased to carry on this time-honored tradition. Gifts are collected, wrapped, and distributed through the help of corporate sponsors and community volunteers. In Greater Indianapolis alone there are over 1,000 individuals with mental health challenges living in residential programs, state hospitals, and other community settings. We strive to reach as many of these individuals as possible with a gift this holiday season to show them that someone cares!

Wish Tree: Set up a wish tree at your place of business, church, or school! Tell us how many individuals your group would like to sponsor, and we will provide gift tags to hang on the tree, with suggested items to be purchased and returned to your collection box.

Gift Donation: Sponsor an individual by purchasing from their wish list.

Donate Funds for Gifts: Donations will be used to support the purchase of gifts for individuals in need.

Volunteer: Join us for our Give a Wrap event where we spend a festive morning wrapping the gifts collected throughout the season! This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 9th, 10am-Noon, at Zion Evangelical Church at 603 N. New Jersey Street. It’s fun for the whole family!
