GIFT LIFT

Gift Lift is a program where gifts are collected, wrapped, and distributed through the help of corporate sponsors and community volunteers. In 2019, over 700 gifts were donated to individuals with mental health challenges living in residential programs, state hospitals, and other community settings in the Greater Indianapolis area.  We are SO grateful to our volunteers and the following local organizations that collected gifts on our behalf:

Eli Lilly & Co.
Aflac
HC1
Butler Business Consulting Group
First Internet Bank
Teachers Credit Union
Well Done Marketing
RE Dimond
Freije
Groff and Associates
First Merchants Bank
Energy Systems Network
Cook Device Solutions

Interested in getting involved in 2020? You can:

Wish Tree: Set up a wish tree at your place of business, church, or school! Tell us how many individuals your group would like to sponsor, and we will provide gift tags to hang on the tree, with suggested items to be purchased and returned to your collection box. Individuals can also sponsor.

Gift Donation: Sponsor an individual by purchasing from their wish list.

Donate Funds for Gifts: Donations will be used to support the purchase of gifts for individuals in need.

Volunteer: Join us for our 2020 Give a Wrap event  (date TBD) where we spend a festive morning wrapping the gifts collected throughout the season! It’s fun for the whole family! You can check out images from the 2019 Give A Wrap here

Contact tocarram@familiesfirstindiana.org if you, your place of business, church or school is interested in making the holidays brighter for those experiencing mental health challenges.

Salute to Families breakfast

The Salute to Families breakfast provides an opportunity for you to become inspired, connected, and engaged in supporting the human services provided by Families First. It also serves to raise your awareness about the many challenges faced by individuals and families here in central Indiana and the great work happening to strengthen and empower each of them during their times of challenges and hardship.

The 2019 event netted over $44,000. These funds will go directly to help local individuals and families find the help they need to move past challenging situations and reach their full potential.

The 2020 event is Tuesday, September 29. Be sure you stay informed. Sign up for our eNews.
