Domestic Violence Support Group Facilitator
Domestic Violence Support group facilitators work in locations throughout the community to support, educate and advocate for survivors of domestic abuse. Our program allows members to learn from each other and share in each other’s journey towards healing. NON-therapist facilitators lead weekly support groups for women who have experienced or are currently experiencing domestic abuse. Groups are held in the afternoon and evenings in various locations throughout Indianapolis. Groups cover a variety of topics aimed at empowerment and support for survivors. Group topics and supporting materials are provided by the volunteer coordinator.
NO EXPERIENCE FOR THIS POSITION IS REQUIRED.
